Codes and Standards
Gifford is a recognised leader in the area of codes and standards and has drafted and developed many of the standards which govern the industry. We hold key roles on a number of authoritative UK committees, including BSI and Eurocode committees.
Gifford specialists have used their extensive experience in analysis, design, research and development relating to structures to develop many codes and standards.
We have undertaken numerous drafting and advice contracts for clients including the Highways Agency and Network Rail. These relate to bridge loading, design and assessment for UK standards as well as Eurocodes.
