Current Gifford projects include design and assessment work for the nuclear decommissioning industry. We are also actively involved in the design of large storage tanks for the oil, gas and water industries throughout the world. This involves utilising sophisticated advanced analysis techniques appropriate to the environmental conditions and the geographical location of particular sites.
Alongside experience in traditional utilities projects, Gifford has been at the forefront of renewable energy systems development since the 1970s and has extensive experience of both wind and wave power sources. We also possess the necessary technical expertise to inform and support the resurgent clean energy technologies industry.
