Q. How can I find out if there are any vacancies at Gifford?
A: Search our list of current vacancies – this is updated regularly so if we do not have anything that interests you currently, please keep coming back.

Q: How do I apply to join Gifford?
A: Complete our on-line application form. We endeavour to contact all applicants within four weeks. Interviews are held locally.

Q. Do I need a degree to work at Gifford?
A. It will depend on the level and nature of the role you are interested in. If a degree is a requirement it will be stated in the job description. However a candidate who does not hold a degree may still be considered for one of our vacancies if they can demonstrate relevant experience.

Q. Will Gifford apply for a work permit for me?
A. We will endeavour to apply for a work permit on your behalf provided you meet current Home Office criteria.

Q: Do you offer vacation work and/or industrial placements?
A: Yes, we offer both. Please refer to the Students and Undergraduates page for further information.

Q: Will I be paid for vacation and industrial employment?
A: Yes

Q: Do you offer sponsorship to undergraduates?
A: Yes, we offer a number of bursaries each year to undergraduates who have worked for us in their summer vacation or on an industrial placement and who are nominated by their line manager. We also sponsor students through accredited schemes such as ICE Quest and CITB Inspire, and partnership schemes with leading UK universities.

Q: What hours would you expect me to work?
A: Standard hours are 37.5 hours per week. You may be required to work different or additional hours as the job demands.
