Gifford provides design consultancy and project management services to various clients, of which the Ministry of Defence is a particularly important one. Working through Defence Estates - the organisation that delivers the MoD’s infrastructure requirements, Gifford provides a comprehensive ‘one stop shop’ that serves the estate needs of the Services.

Through the Project Management Term Commission, Framework agreements and discrete projects, Gifford supports the Royal Navy, the British Army and Royal Air Force at home and in overseas theatres including Gibraltar, Cyprus and the South Atlantic. 

Drawing upon its team of specialist designers, engineers and technicians, Gifford supports the MoD, helping to shape the estate platform on which British Service personnel live and train to meet their operational commitments. 

From inception to construction, Gifford provides a comprehensive service, providing professional advice on sustainability, programming, risk management and master planning etc, and innovative and value for money design solutions for new build and refurbishment accommodation projects and technical facilities.  We also offer the services of our professionally trained CDM Coordinators.
